Frequently asked questions and answers are shown on this page. Please take your time to read through the questions and answers on this page before contacting the driving school.  If you would like to book a lesson or get in touch with us there are many ways to do this, either by phone or text on 07854 425 494, by filling in one of the many contact forms or by visiting the contact page.  We have also posted some useful links that you might find helpful on our links page.

How much are your lessons?

Driving lessons start at a ‘pay as you go’ rate of £40 an hour.  Please see the prices and discounts page for more information.

What hours do you work?

The normal hours are from 9am to 4pm.  Monday to Friday only.

Do you offer any discounts?

If you pay for a block of 6 or 10 lessons in advance you will receive a discount.  Please see the prices and discounts page for more information.

Do you work weekends?

Weekend lessons are not normally offered. Lessons can only be taken Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm,

How much notice do I need to give to cancel a lesson?

You need to give 48 hours notice to cancel or change a lesson, otherwise you may still be charged for the lesson.

How can I pay for lessons?

You can pay for lessons with cash, credit or debit card, PayM, bank transfer or online.

Do you offer intensive courses?

No, intensive courses are not normally offered. But students can take several hours a week if there is availability. 

Do you cover Hook | Odiham | Bramley | Alton etc

No sorry, I only offer driving lessons in Basingstoke.

What car do you have?

The car is a Ford Fiesta Active – Eco Boost 2019

Paul's Automatic Driving School offers automatic driving lessons, tuition and classes in the Basingstoke area.  Paul is a 'Grade A' DVSA instructor with more than 16 years of experience.
